User Data Deletion Policy

1. Your Right to Delete Your Data

You may request deletion of your personal data held by Digiflyer Advertisement Services Private Limited at any time. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 calendar days.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

• Method 1 — Email Request (Primary): Send an email to rishabhdoshi@digiflyer.in with the subject line: Data Deletion Request — DigiEvents. Include your full name, registered email address or phone number, whether you are a Planner, Team Member, or Guest, and confirmation that you want your personal data permanently deleted.
• Method 2 — In-Platform Request (Planner Account Holders): Log in to DigiEvents, open Account Settings, go to Privacy & Data, select Delete My Account and All Data, and confirm deletion.
• Method 3 — Facebook-connected Accounts: If you used Facebook Login, remove DigiEvents from your Facebook Apps and Websites settings or email us directly referencing the connected account.

3. What Happens After Your Request

• Verification (1–3 days): We verify your identity to prevent unauthorised deletion.
• Acknowledgement: We send confirmation within 5 business days.
• Deletion (within 30 days): Personal data is removed from active systems, including account details, guest data, wedding data, AI logs, WhatsApp logs, and related planning information.
• Backup purge (within 90 days): Data is purged from backup systems.
• Final confirmation: We send a closing notification after deletion is completed.

4. Data We Cannot Delete

• Financial records: transaction records, invoices, and payment history retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law.
• Legal proceedings data: information needed for regulatory matters, disputes, or court orders.
• Anonymised analytics: aggregated data that cannot identify you personally.
• Security logs: retained for up to 12 months for fraud prevention and platform security.

5. Guest Data — Special Note for Wedding Guests

If you are a wedding guest whose data was entered by a Planner, the Planner is the Data Controller of your personal data. You should first direct deletion requests to the Planner, but you may also contact us directly and we will coordinate deletion from our systems.

Your WhatsApp number will be removed from future communications immediately after a valid opt-out request.

6. WhatsApp Data Deletion

• WhatsApp message logs are automatically deleted 90 days after the wedding event date.
• Upon a verified deletion request, we remove your phone number from our systems and stop all WhatsApp communications immediately.
• We request removal of associated WABA data through the appropriate Meta channels where applicable.
• You may also manage privacy controls directly through WhatsApp.
